Quite an accomplished musician,
with a uniquely British flavor, King has always had a heart for others.
With all the hurt and tragedy evident in the world today, King tries to make a positive difference:
"One of the reasons I go out and play is that I want to give kids an opportunity to hear music that's not going to tear them apart or make them do drugs or screw up their lives. I want to give kids a true alternative to all of the negative influences that are out there.
Most bands today are screwed up themselves and all they can do is share their misery and pain, and though it's ok to share your pain, would it not be also good to share the meaning behind the pain and then maybe also the solution."

"I want kids to see that there's a chance for them to do something with their lives. Suicide isn't the way out, and all of these bands that say kill yourself before someone else does are really deceived. It saddens me deeply."

"I want kids to know that life is worth living, it's fun and there are lots of things to do out there.
Of course there is depression and frustration, I go through it myself, but the bottom line is, there is hope and you get out of life what you put into it."

The message in King's music is a message of life.
It's a positive musical format that will give kids hope instead of despair, because these days, there's a lot of music out there that teaches despair and that life is boring.
"I want to give a message of hope. I know that sound really corny, but that's the way it is."

"today there is so much influence teaching that the world owes us a living,
poor me, things aren't working out and it's always somebody else's fault.
The first thing I figured out was that when something goes wrong I blame myself. I look to the source.
It's usually me or something I've screwed up on. And I have no problem with that. Because if you start with yourself, you're not blaming anybody else, so you're not going to get into any kind of trouble. You can change yourself, but you can't change other people.   Of course I am still somewhat human and I have my own want's, lust's and desires and sometimes they get in the way, but that doesn't change the truth of what's right and wrong.
I guess I'm just not perfect......
